Our Purpose
Australian agriculture faces rising energy costs, tightening processor requirements, and increasing pressure around methane and emissions.
We believe farms should be able to:
-
Convert waste into value
-
Reduce exposure to volatile electricity markets
-
Strengthen long-term supply relationships
-
Improve environmental performance in a commercially sound way
Ag2Energy was founded to deliver practical energy infrastructure that works in real farming conditions, not theoretical sustainability strategies.
experienced energy and carbon professionals
Our Team
Matthew grew up in the countryside in the UK and developed an early understanding of the realities facing agricultural businesses. He spent a decade at Glencore working across global energy and commodities markets before focusing on land-based carbon and agricultural projects in Australia.
Through this work, he recognised that energy and methane solutions on-farm offer more stable and long-term commercial value than relying solely on land-based carbon projects. Ag2Energy was established to bring disciplined energy infrastructure thinking into Australian agriculture — in a way that works for farmers.
