What On-farm Energy Means?
On-farm energy means generating reliable power directly on your farm using existing waste streams. By producing energy on site farms can lower energy costs, become self-sufficient, protect against grid outages and improve waste and emissions management without adding complexity to day-to-day operations.
Simple process. Reliable energy
Our Process
Ag2Energy delivers end-to-end on-farm biogas systems designed to integrate with existing farm operations and provide reliable energy day and night.
Site assessment
We assess your farm’s waste streams and energy use to estimate the potential savings from bio-energy.
Design, build, and operate
Each system is designed specifically for your farm and integrated into existing infrastructure. Ag2Energy manages the design, construction, and ongoing operation, removing complexity and minimising disruption.
Guaranteed performance
We stand behind the performance of every system we deliver. If issues arise, our team is responsible for resolving them to ensure reliable, ongoing operation.
How The System Works?
Biogas systems capture gases created from farm waste and convert it into usable energy. The system operates continuously and integrates with existing farm.

Capture Farm Waste
Animal effluent is collected from flush systems and wash down in dairy and piggery sheds into a Covered Anaerobic Lagoon (CAL).

Produce biogas (CAL)
The CAL is a sealed system that traps the biogas and odours. The biogas is then piped to the CHP engine.

Generate energy (CHP)
The biogas is treated and then burned in the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) engine producing on-farm electricity and heat.
Flexible ways to get started
Payment Options
Own the system
Purchase the system outright and generate your own energy on farm. You retain full ownership, control long-term energy costs, and benefit directly from energy and emissions savings.
Fully financed option
Ag2Energy funds, owns, and operates the system on your farm. You pay only for the energy you use, with no large upfront costs and minimal operational responsibility.
